PRECOURSE OF MEDITERRANEAN ARCHAEOLOGY STARTS ON 09/16

Dear students,

our program has activated a pre-course of Archaeology of the Mediterranean. It is an introductory course that is not mandatory and offers no credits but our archaeology faculty invite all first year students to attend it, particularly those who have never taken any class pertaining to the archaeology of the Mediterranean.

The course covers  a range of periods and civilization from Prehistory to the Late Antique.

While not mandatory, participation to the course might be a requirement for participation in seminars in archaeology in our program for those who have not taken previous courses of MedArch.

The syllabus with the provisional schedule of the classes will be sent by email.

IMPORTANT: the precourse will begin on Monday September 16, 11am-1pm in Aula Seminari, and will end in the second week of October. Students interested in participating in the course should therefore arrive in Pavia by September 16, 2024.
